My Journey
Hyzenthalay Shiver is an author from Boston, Massachusetts currently living in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has served children and families in varies capacities for more than 20 years. Hyzenthalay fell in love with reading at an early age, often taking trips to book stores with her father. Both her mother and father are educators, they instilled the value of reading at an early age. She was inspired to write stories for children to encourage the love for reading...one story at a time.
Hyzenthalay holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.
Her first book Journey's Great Adventures, Becoming a Teacher was inspired by her role as a second grade teacher for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System.
